Car had ran great all summer, have had a blast with it, but last week, I was headed home and it just shut down, like you hd turned the switch off, or like it had ran out of gas, car rolled a few feet , fired right back up enogut for me to get it off the road,,,, pulled it home, and thought my fuel pump had went out, but when checked it , it was pumping, checked the points and there was no fire on points,,,,,, put new points, condencor, new coil, and coil wire, fired right up , took it for a drive and it ran great, but upon returning home, cut off again, jsut like before , while still rolling it will fire back up, I did notice if I pull the choke all the out it will contuine to run enougth ti get it home....

Any ideas whats going on..

Thank you very much

it could be yoru ignition relay but if you pulll the choke i'dhave to think it's a carb problem more thatn anything else. Or you might try replacing your fuel filter. A carb problem may be a float level low, dampner out of oil, or just plain needs to be rebuilt.
