I have a ab14 electric ignition amplifier that's bad.
there is no juice.
theres juice to the coil but not threw the e i a.
to the dist.

if thi is the one i think it is and it's got the amplifier on the outside of the distributor, the best thing to do is trash that unit. They were/are nothing but trouble as they fail for not particular reason even if they test good. the best thing to do is get teh crane system and install it in the distributor and fenderwell It'spractically bulletproof and it runs about $140. If you tried to replace the current system with another one it could and probably would fail within 5000 miles....... I've had my experience with these. You can also try the pertronix system as it's cheaper.
