Noises problem
2000 Mercury Villager Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My van has had a problem with a jerk to the right while accelerating. It also clunks on the right side all the time No problem was found. Now there is a creak when braking or accelerating, from underneath on the right, like something shifting forward and back.
The streering wheel has never really sat straight across always tilted slightly right. The van will drift very slight to the right if you let go of the stering wheel.

First, for the steering wheel to sit straight, it has to be set straight before an alignment. If it is off, have them fix it next alignment.

Now for the noise. Has anyone checked motor mounts? Also, have the sway bar bushings checked.

Let me know what you find.

Hi:
Thanks for the positive feed back. It is apprecitated. Also, I'm glad you got it fixed. However, I can't read the entire note you wrote because it cuts it off after so many letters.

Regardless, thanks, take care, and let us know if you ever have questions in the future.

Thanks,
Joe
