2000 Mercury Villager Check engine light blinks

Engine problem
2000 Mercury Villager 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 120000 miles

I just did lots of work on my van. So I know its running pretty well. But today while turning a corner, the check engine blinked twice at me then went away. I drove the car around my area for about 20 more minutes trying to see if it would come back on and never did. Should I be worried about something major? Thanks

Until the symptoms return, I wouldn't do anything about it. Typically a flashing CEL is an indication of damage being done to the converter often from an excessivly rich condition..
