1999 Mercury Villager turn signals

1999 Mercury Villager 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 101000 miles

both turn signals went out at thr same time,
I replaced the small fuse on the left of the fuse box,
that didn't work, theres some large square boxes on the right side of the fuse box that might have fuses also. what should I do?
