I have a 98' mercury villager that the right front brake drags. The problem seems sporadic. Sometimes its not noticeable, other times its so bad the van doesn't want to accelerate and causes the trans to shift very hard. Is this a common problem with this vehicle? Is this a problem with the abs, brake lines, or calipers? I replaced both rotors and pads not to long ago (right side was really bad) but saw no apparent problems with any of the components while doing the brake job.

Could be the caliper piston is corroded not retracting or the brake hose has collasped
