my villager runs great on flats gets great gas mileage but loses pwoer uphill ...local repair put it on computer ooooo nothing, they thought for sure it was the fuel pump so 4oo bucks later i still can't take a 1/4 mile incline

try disconnecting the exhaust system at the manifolds and driving it, problem go away? could be a restricted convertor that when going uphill the chunks of the ceramic block off the exhaust. or it could be plugged and reducing your power.

have you cleaned your MAF sensor? changed air filter?
