Can a cps cause idle proiblems, sorry fore got to add ran codes and it call for cps, it will start but dose not take fuel right. Acts like it has to wind up, while you give it fuel.

Yes, but idle problems are more commonly caused by a sticky idle air control valve, it's bolted to the threottlebody, also vacuum leaks and sticky EGR and PCV.
