Interior problem
1995 Mercury Villager 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 260000 miles

Great car, little problems. After loaning the van to a short person, it came back with the driver's seat stuck in one position. It adjusts electronically, and not manually, butwhen I push the button it vibrates but doesn't slide forward or back. I don't know if the motor is burned out

Get 300.00 from short person!, Look under the seat, see if the gear travelled too far and came out of the run, you may be able to sit in the seat and use your legs to push it back while operating the switch, if not, it will probably need a new gear on the head end, or maybe the intrnal gear. Easier to replace the motor.
