how do i hook up an oil pressure guage to my car since it didn't come with one from the factory. i picked one up from an auto parts store. not an oil pressure tester but an oil pressure guage. thank you for your time.

You need to remove the oil pressure switch and then hook up a mechanical gauge to read the actual oil pressure.
