1997 Mercury Tracer leaking

Tranny fluid leaks out as fast as I put it in, seems to be coming from the engine/transmission conection/flywheel area, i do not know anything about these front wheel drive cars. is there a tranny seal that went bad in there or maybe a plug in the converter cam loose?? Help!

Hi there,

When you have such leak it is usually the front seal, the transmission will have to be removed and the seal replaced,.
