1995 Mercury Tracer how do i set the timing on this car?

i need to know how to set the timing on my 1995 mercury tracer it has the 1.8l dohc set up and i just cant seem to get this thing in time for nothing.

You need to ground the sti wire at the test connector then set timing to 9-11 BTDC
