Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Mercury Tracer 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 90,000 miles

I am having a problem with starting.I just replaced the cam sensor which showed up on the scanner and caused the check engine light to go on.Check engine light is now off and nothing shows up on the dealers scanner. It starts after the third try when warm but starts easier in the morning. The motor runs very smooth.Listening to the exhaust there is no misses or sputters. What do you think?

Since you have taken care of the check engine light and still have the issue, i believe your issue is fuel related. First check fuel pressure, should be 31-38 psi if you have a 1.8L and 38-45 if you have a 1.9L engine. Also check fuel filter.
A couple of Ideas, let me know.
