Sable power window question

I have a 1997 Sable gs auto and front whell drive with 118,000 miles. My drivers side power window won't go up. I lowered it and 10 minutes later it would not go up. When I push the down side of the button I here a click from the fuse panel. When I push the up button, I here nothing. This car has some weird electrical glitches from time to time that seems to correct itself. Any clue?

Just for the heck of it I put the key in the ignition and started the car. I pushed the up button for the window and hit the lower door panel. The window went up! I don't dare roll it down again. Any thoughts as to why this happened?
