power locks!

ok, i have a 1999 mercury sable gs milage- 063754... it is equipped with power locks but when i push the lock/unlock buttons, the only ones that lock or unlock are the 2 rear doors. i have to manually lock and unlock the 2 front doors... what would this be caused by and how can i fix it??

since both the front doors do not electrically lock i would check the switch on the drivers door. see if there is a loose wire or the conecttions are not connected
