Have black smoke coming from the back of car?

I have a 2003Mercury Sable LS premium. I have an engine problem. I have replaced spark plugs/+wires, an O2 sensor the 2nd catalytic converter, MAF sensor, throttle position sensor EGR manifold pipe, EGR sensor and solenoid. I am so frustrated because I am still sluggish have black smoke coming from the back of car and there's a ticking sound. Could it be that I need to change another catalytic converter? Don't know what to do next.

The sound would be good to hear, can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? That would be great. You can upload it here with your response. But it sounds like you have a fuel injector that is shorted or stuck open. When you replaced the spark plug, did you notice one of them back or wet with fuel? Here is how to test the injectors and remove them for replacement:
