Girl in need of help with a 2000 Mercury Sable

I have a 2000 Mecury Sable with roughly 89,000 miles. When I turn the wheel to the left, it makes a loud squealing, maybe grinding noise. Does anyone know what this could be? I would like to have an idear before I take it in for repairs.

Any information would be great! :) :)

It sounds like it is coming from the front on the left side and it only happens when I turn left.
