Does engine need to be top dead center to change out camshaft position sensor sensor on this make and model

Hi Robert,

No, you don't need to have it at TDC. I haven't run into any make or model that you need to have it at TDC.

The car idled a bit rough after the change. So I pulled the negative and reset. Then I drove the car for a bit and the rough idle is gone at this time. Will see after the car has cooled some. The idle fluctuated a bit. Gassed up after a test drive and got an additional 200 extra miles out of the tank. I am grins if this is the best fix i've ever done for twenty dollars. Thank you car pros.
