My car is running rough, making a whiny noise and the check engine light is on. This only started a day after driving in a rain storm and going through several large puddles on the highway. I don't want to take it to the shop and spend a fortune, however, I'm not able to fix myself. Any suggestions?

What you need to do is scanned the computer for OBD2 codes Autozone provide this service free-the computer has identified a problem within the engine management system this the starting point of diagnosis and get back with the code/s asap
