2004 Mercury Sable Alarm System

When I lock the door with the remote or the electric switch, after a couple of hours or less the alarm will go off. If I lock it with the push down button on the door ( not the switch) it will not go off. I did rinse off the engine and did help for a few days, but now it's back to the same problem.

If your battery is low, the alarm will go off. So, go get your battery checked.
