2003 Mercury Sable Two Wheel Drive 80,000 miles

Sometimes the car will not shift out of park until you mess with it for a minute or two (acts like its jammed) other times it shifts from park, like a new car.

Check brake light switch and its wiring
every time you step on the brake light should go on if not suspect brake light switch or wiring on it
