In the past few months, now and again my car will not start. There is no clicking or noise whatsoever, just dead. My boyfriend tried jumping thinking it was the battery and there was nothing. Then he took a hammer and hit on the starter relay and it started up. This was the first time someone had to do that however, otherwise if I just sit for a while, it starts eventually.
