2003 Mercury Sable Lug nuts loose

My car has had these issues before and i just had new tires put on about 2 months ago.

My car is currently not aligned, could this be causing the lug nuts on the car to become loose?

also there are a lot of pot holes on the street that i always cant miss, could this be it?

If you have the factory wheels, this should not happen. Make sure the tire shop torques the lug nuts to the correct torque. It sounds like they are not tightening them enough.
