2003 Mercury Sable Dash brake lite error

Car suddenly began "bucking" during normal driving
and brake lite came on. Lost speed and pulled off road. Set/released emergency brack and pushed/released foot brake pedal. Brake lite finally out and car resumed normal operation.
Should I take to brake man or for computer diagnostic...both?

Take it to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer. Most will do it for free, so there is no money out of pocket for you.
