My 2003 Mercury Sable is blowing hot air. 2 cans of R134 we added and still no cool air. I did the self test and was given a code of 888, but have no idea what that means. Thanks.

Hi southernbel1975, Welcome to 2Carpros and TY for the donation

Do you hear the clutch engage the compressor??? When you turn AC On? If not possibilities here could be the clutch relay, cycling switch or pressure switch

If the compressor is working -could be the blend air door or the HVAC control unit itself
