I have a new battery and I've had my alternator checked. My car keeps flashing red where the battery indicator is and from time to time cuts off when I'm trying to turn or get in another lane.

check battery cables and ends, ensure they are clean and tight. also check alternator belt to ensure it is tight and not damaged / slipping.
