2002 Mercury Sable No air blowing at all

I turn on heat or air conditioning and i can hear something shifting when I switch from defrost to feet or to any of the other settings, but no air comes out at all. Any suggestions. Sorry about no donation for this question but looking for a reliable source for doing my own repairs. Thanks
