I see a small Trans Fluid puddle (less than a cup) under my Sable. I noticed the dipstick was not properly seated a a nother small ouddle on the frame underneath the dipstick. Could this be the reason for the leak? No warning lights appear and the reading on the dipstick seems okay.

HI there,

Thank you for the donation.

Best thing to do is check and correct the transmission fluid level, and make sure that the dip stick is seated correctly, wash the trans down and drive foe a few days, check for any fresh leaks and if so, you should be able to track the leak back to its source, start here.
