My check engine light is on. My local parts store checked the code and it says bank two sensor two is bad. I replaced the oxygen sensor on the cyclinder bank closest to the firewall after the cat and the check engine still comes back on after resetting it. Did I change the correct sensor ? HELP ! Thank You !!

Ok here is how it breaks down. Bank 1 is the right bank (closest to the fire wall), bank 2 is the left bank (closest to the radiator. Now sensor 1 is the one closest to the engine and sensor 2 is the one behind the cat. convertor. So no you replaced the wrong one. Now you know how they are labeled. Hope this helps.
