1999 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Automatic 170000 miles

i wanted to know where is the white smoke coming from the inside drivers vent of the car. it smells like something is burning.

It's either steam from the heater core, or, smoke from either the blower motor, or the blower motor resistor.
