1998 Mercury Sable leakage of transmission fluid

Why would the transmission fluid leak out completely in a newly installed rebuilt transmission on an OHC engine 3.0?

Someone screwed up. Take it back...while the warranty is valid.

There must be a leak somewhere, if not the transmissionl, maybe a cooler line...still take it back and ask them to look at it. Any shop should have no problem looking over their work.
