1998 Mercury Sable brakes

I was sitting in a drivethru in drive holding the brake, and I stretched my leg and the brake pedal went to the floor. I drove home with minimal brake usage. I thought I had a broken brake line, but I checked the brake fluid reservoir and it was full. Would you have any idea what else this could be?

Brake line would be my 1st suggestion
then check the wheel cylinders
and master cylinder

pump the brake paddle and check for leaks if any
