Water was leaking from the coolant reservoir...I replaced it. Then pressure was building up and forcing water out through the top of the reservoir...first I replaced the thermostat...then I removed it. Then my hearter core started leaking so I have that by-passed. Water pressure continues to build up and force water out through the top of the reservoir. This has all happened over about 3 weeks.
What could be causing this?

Try this test. With the engine cold, open the radiator cap and start the engine. Does the coolant start spilling over or shooting out?
