Electrical problem
1998 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic unk miles

was working great. Engine blew. Replaced with junkyard engine. Ran but had sum what of a problem starting. Had to press the gas about a quarter of the way down to start. Sum times had to pump gas peddle. One day decided not to start. Wated till next day started and ran good for a wile. Then agen one day didnt start. It never started after that. I had intermitten spark. Changed all the normal crap still no spark. Changed coil pack no help. Changed cam shaft position sensor I got no spark what so ever. Put old part back on got inter mittin spark. Changed crankshaft position sensor no spark. Put old par back on got inter mittin spark. Change computer. Car started no problem. Ran 20 min stoped. Tryed to start had to pump peddle. Ran 5 min stoped. Wouldnt restart till next mornig. Ran and stoped wont start back up. Still have spark. Wtf. Please help.

Only three reasons why an engine won't start: no fire, no compression, no fuel. Have you tested fuel pressure to make sure you don't have a problem with the fuel pump. Is the relay sticking or bad? Test fuel pressure and post back. You can also do a compression test and post those as well, but I don't believe that is your problem. It may also be a grounding issue. Check all case grounds.
