1997 Mercury Sable Engine Stalls

Engine Performance problem
1997 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 10000+ miles

I have a 97 Mercury Sable with a 6 cyl engine code "U". I will begin by stating all that has been replaced. Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Spark Plugs, Plug wires, Ignition coil pack, Battery, Max air Flow sensor, and all vacum hoses that I could find. The problem is when the car is running and the temperature outside is above 70. After warming to operating temperature the car stalls. It will restart and run for a mile and then stall again. At temperatures 60 or below it runs fine. Between 60 and 70 is hit and miss Please help

After engine stalling would it start back up or have to wait for it to cool down and then it will start
if have to wait suspect crank position sensor
if start with out waiting remove and clean idle air control valve
