1992 Mercury Sable Running Rough

All through the winter months the car ran fine. As soon as we hit 75 degrees outside the engine starts hesitating. I believe I heard some regular backfiring as well.

Have you had a major tune up done latey. When the weather warms up it can cause the ignition system to break down. Please let me know.

Afraid I have not. I'm on a limited income so I have been trying to get by on oil changes and good tires.
