1990 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

After my vehicle's engine overheated and ceased running. It hasn't been able to run since. It turns over but refuses to start.

It is possible that the head gasket is blown. I would remove spark plugs and crank engine over and see if coolant comes out of cylinder. If it does then the head gasket is blown

Overheated !
Check if you have compression
you may have damaged head gasket and or heads
