right side cat needs replacement, studs are rotten, does fender inner wall need to be removed, what is best method for this replacement

best thing is if you ahve torch heat the nuts on teh studs to get them off. If they brak then you'll have to pull the exaust manifold off. You should be able to get it off without pulling the fenderwell.
