1991 Other Mercury Models charging problems

1991 Other Mercury Models

it has a new altinator and battry on it just put on in the last 2 days it will not stay at a steady charge when u first start it it puts out 12 amps when u turn the lights on it drops to 11 when u turn the heater on it drops alittle below that then the wippers it drops to 10 amps what could be the problem? i sorry i dont have any money to donate .

Well first it would help me look up wiring diagrams and such if I knew what model it is? Other doesnt work!

its a merc capri 2 door convertable

The other thing is many times you will find the rebuilt alternator is defective, check email I will send a PDF for it.
