car keeps running after key is turned off

check ignition switch
any after market wiring(alarm system ,remote starter….)

thier are no after maket wiring. to shut off i disconnect battery. the next day i need to jump it to get it started

Since the battery was disconnected and the next day will not start the engine
then the battery is no good
check ,charge and or
replace battery and check alternator and charging system
