1995 Mercury Mystique White smoke from exhaust

1995 Mercury Mystique 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 95 mystique that just started to blow white smoke from the exhaust. The car isnt over heating and it doesnt look like oil is in the over flow coolant. What could be the problem?

you should still have the head gasket checked
