Brakes problem
2004 Mercury Mountaineer All Wheel Drive 69500 miles

We are trying to adjust the Parking Brakes (emergency brakes)

We cannot find an adjustment location.

I believe the adjustment is mounted to the frame and holds the steel park cable from hanging. If you tighten the adjuster, it will take up the slack.
