2002 Mercury Mountaineer Tail lights remain on

My tail lights remain on even after the engine is stopped and the keys are out. Please let me know what to do to fix this problem.

hello.im not sure if your truck uses a stop light switch but normally when that happens its the stop light switch.location......> on the brake pedal above.
