my suv is cutting off mostly at stop light what does these codes mean?

These codes are as such. P0171 and P0172 is lean condition could be an O2 sensor or fuel injection or vacuum leak or? Now what I would like you to do first is unplug the Mass Air Flow Sensor and see if it idles better and dont stall. Get back to me with what you find here.
