I need to find out how to go about replacing the fuel pump on the mercury mountaineer 2000. I also need to find out if this model has a fuel pump reset switch

You need to remove the fuel tank to access the pump. As far as the reset, check in the rear of the vehicle behind the plastic covers on the side.
