1998 Mercury Mountaineer Vehicle will not start

Hi,
I have a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer, has always run great. No problems at all. I let it sit for about a month with very little gas in it. Went to start it and ran the battery out. .... Went and got gas for it and tried charging the battery. It just keeps turning over and over and will not start. Can anyone please help me???

You probably fried the fuel pump or the fuel filter is clogged.Check the fuel pressure and check the injectors if it's pulsing.
