1997 Mercury Mountaineer Ignition Key

I cannot remove the key from the ignition. The ignition seems to be pulled away from the steering wheel about 1/8th of an inch.l

It soundslike the tumbler needs replaced. Because the vehicle has an air bag, I recommend taking it to someone who is trained to remove the steering wheel / airbag to get to the tumbler.
