hi, i have a mercury mountaineer 97 it is making a noise, they've told me it was the alt and i believe it because it wasnt charging i repaired it but the noise is still there they are telling me thats the power steering pump but i check it and the level of the fluid is ok and theres no leakings so i dont know wheres the problem, please help me because i dont know if its dangerous or if i can still use my vehicle
