2001 Mercury Montego V8

when i start engine the windshield wipers come on frantically..and won't shut off till i turn of engine and pull fuse..so it wipers won't come on...it gonna rain tomorrow in ca. and i need my wipers to work ..some people have said its a switch that is very expensive..

the switch grounds the wiper motor out to make it work. Sometimes the ground inside the wiper mootor breaks and causes this. Take it to a pro have him/her check it out...
