My 2006 Mercury Milan 2.3L 4 cyl. 5-speed manual clutch sticks to the floor when i press it. I can put it in gear as soon as i push it in, but then it tries to take off after a couple seconds while the pedal is still on the floor. Also I noticed when I barely press the pedal about 1/3 the way down, it pulls itself the rest of the way to the floor. What does this sound like?

This sounds like the clutch master is no good and needs to be replaced. Here is a diagram to help you get the job done. Once the master is installed just pump the clutch pedal which will bleed the system for you.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken
